Fabricated metal letters and backlit logos: silhouette, multi-layer, glow or neon flex, lit from behind
One flat metal face cut to your logo, an LED strip behind it, the glow on the wall. Four builds in black, copper, silver, gold or corten finishes, built to your drawing.

Silhouette, multi-layer, glow or neon flex
Every build starts the same way: a metal sheet cut to the outline, an LED strip fixed behind it with an insulating acrylic layer between, and the light thrown onto the wall; in the UK, halo illuminated letters. What changes is what sits in front of that light: one layer, several, or a neon flex border.

Signature build
Silhouette
One flat metal sheet cut to the outline of the logo, with the LED strip behind it; the metal reads dark and the light falls on the wall. Details are cut through the sheet so light shows through them, or kept as solid pieces.

Multi-layer
Two or more metal layers stacked in one piece; the rear layer hides the wiring and stiffens the sign. Light bounces between the layers, so the piece reads with depth.

Most ordered, for interiors
Glow (also called neon rim)
A silhouette-cut metal face with a neon flex border running along its outline on the front, an acrylic layer behind it and the LED strip behind that. The border lights on the front, the metal reads dark and the wall glows behind.

Neon Flex
An LED strip in a flexible PVC sleeve, bent to the lines of the logo and mounted on a clear acrylic panel: a continuous line of light without glass. Set on a metal face with the LED strip behind it when the outline needs emphasis.
About these photos
Photos of installed signs are sent back after the local sign company or contractor hung them; photos captioned lit-tested were taken at our workshop before packing. None is a render. We do not name the business, the city or the trade.
Standoff screws, studs, or a backer
- Standoff screws through the face hold the sheet off the wall; that gap is what makes the halo.
- Threaded studs on the back when the face must stay clean.
- A backer panel on brick, stone or cladding gives the glow one flat surface and keeps the wiring behind it.
- A 1:1 drilling pattern ships in the box, and the power supply is sized to the set and shown on the drawing.
Send a photo of the wall; our engineering team proposes the mounting method and the pattern.
What install-ready means for your crew →Two things to mark on the drawing
- The build for each element (silhouette, multi-layer, glow or neon flex), and whether loose details may ship as separate pieces or should be joined on an acrylic backer.
- Standoff screws through the face, or a clean face on studs.

Matte, brushed or polished black; brushed or polished copper, silver or gold; corten. Powder-coated, or a UV-printed face when the logo is multi-colour.
Warranty is by component, not one number for the whole sign: the coating on the metal, the acrylic, the LED strip and the power supply each have their own term. On-site labor is not covered.

Questions sign shops ask
Halo metal logo or channel letters: which do I order?
If the wall should glow around a dark metal shape, order backlit metal: one flat sheet, LEDs behind it, standoff screws or studs. If the face itself must light, or the letters go on a raceway outdoors, order channel letters.
Which LED colours?
Single colours: blue, purple, green, orange, red, yellow, warm white, cool white. Two colours in one logo is a normal order; RGB on request. Specify on the drawing.
Can loose details ship as one piece?
Yes. Floating details are either mounted as separate pieces with their own holes on the pattern, or joined on an acrylic backer so the set hangs as one panel. Say which you prefer on the drawing.
